Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Beatrice Fitzmaurice #1618 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast 300m Effort with Strong Relative Placing Beatrice covered 0.30 km in 1:31, averaging 5:08/km. In a short effort, thats a sharp pace and a good sign of raw speed. She finished 351st out of 5,624 women and 97th in the female 1825 division, placing her well inside the top quarter of both groups. This was part of the Friday Night Lights Canary Wharf setting, where the closed-road format suits fast running. Stat to note: she passed 1 runner during the segment. For future gains, the next step is to see if this speed can be held over a longer measured distance, where pacing data would give a fuller picture.
