Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Katherine Hayes #2114 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick 300m effort at 5:34/km pace Katherine covered 0.30 km in 1:38, which works out to 5:34 per km. In a large field of 5,624, she placed 587th among women and 60th in the female 3640 category. That category result stands out positively given the short, fast effort. This was a brief run rather than a full 5K, so the most useful stat here is the pace itself. Holding 5:34/km over 0.30 km shows good speed. For the next outing, the focus could be on extending that pace across a longer distance to give a fuller picture of race fitness, especially at an event known for its closed-road evening atmosphere through Canary Wharf.
