Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Stephen Hayes #3368 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick work with a strong speed-zone result Stephen covered 0.30 km in 1:42, averaging 5:45/km. In the On Speed Zone segment, he passed 65 runners, a notable gain over a short effort. He finished 2205th of 5624 overall, placing him in the top 39% of the field. Among men, he was 1326th, and in the M3640 division he placed 191st. This event is built around a fast evening run through Canary Wharf, so a sharp, efficient segment mattered. The standout stat here is the combination of 5:45/km pace and 65 places made up. For future similar efforts, focusing on sustaining that speed a little longer could help turn a good segment into even more positions gained.
