Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Georgia Burdock #7842 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Front-of-pack speed over a short effort Georgia covered 0.30 km in 1:15, averaging 4:14/km. She placed 63rd of 5,624 women and 24th in the female 1825 division, a strong age-group result from a very short, high-speed effort. Overall, she finished 492nd. This was part of Run The Wharfs Friday Night Lights format in Canary Wharf, known for its fast closed-road setting. The key stat here is speed: holding 4:14/km, even over 0.30 km, points to good turnover and sharp pacing. For future efforts of this type, the next step would be sustaining that speed across a longer distance.
