Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Karina Schmidt-Das #987 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive pace over a very short effort Karina covered 0.30 km in 1:26, averaging 4:53/km. She passed 11 runners in the On Speed Zone, a strong return for such a short segment. Among 5,624 participants, she placed 234th female and 78th in the female 2630 division. This was a sharp, high-speed effort rather than a sustained segment, and the pace stands out. On a quick evening course through Canary Wharf, that ability to accelerate and gain places is a useful asset. A next step could be extending that same speed over a longer section while keeping form consistent.
