Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alex Yeung #3058 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick burst with standout speed-zone count Alex covered 0.30 km in 1:55, averaging 6:31/km. He recorded 14 On Speed Zone passes, the clearest standout stat from this effort. In a field of 5,624, he placed 263rd in the male 1825 division. This was a very short effort, so the most useful takeaway is how much speed he produced over a limited distance. Converting that pace well in the UK format, 6:31/km is solid for a burst like this. For future events of this type, the next step would be sustaining that speed across a longer segment while keeping the same sharp turnover. The Friday-night Canary Wharf setting suits fast, high-energy running, and his speed-zone total fit that format well.
