Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: O'Delle Burke #2288 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast start and strong category standing in a short effort ODelle covered 0.30 km in 1:18, averaging 4:25/km. In a large field of 5,624, he placed 121st in the Male 2630 division and 394th among men. That category result stands out most given the size of the event. This was a very short effort, so the key stat is speed: 4:25/km from the gun. In an event better known for a fast evening run through Canary Wharf, he showed quick turnover over the opening 300 metres. For future attempts at this type of effort, the main focus would be sustaining that pace across a longer distance.
