Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Tom West #6208 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast short-course effort with strong category standing Tom covered 0.30 km in 1:11, averaging 4:02/km. He finished 368th of 5,624 overall, placing him in roughly the top 7% of the field. In the male standings, he was 205th, and he placed 64th in the mens 2630 category. A notable stat: he passed 8 runners in the On Speed Zone segment. On a brief effort like this, that finishing movement is a good sign of sharp pacing and strong acceleration. For future attempts, the main opportunity is to convert that closing speed into a faster average pace across the full 0.30 km.
