Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Honor Hawkes #6397 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Sharp pace over a short effort Honor covered 0.30 km in 1:33, averaging 5:16/km. She passed 76 participants during the segment, a notable stat over such a short distance. Against 5,624 total participants, she placed 426th among women and 113th in the female 1825 division. This was part of Run The Wharfs fast evening setup through Canary Wharf. The main takeaway is speed: holding 5:16/km across 0.30 km points to good acceleration and intent from the start. For future efforts in this format, the next step would be extending that pace across a longer measured section to show how well it can be sustained.
