Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Lina Oumalek #6582 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive speed over a very short effort Lina covered 0.30 km in 1:52, averaging 6:22/km. She ranked 206th in the female 1825 division, 1075th among women, and 2819th overall out of 5624 participants. An extra standout stat: she passed 27 runners during the On Speed Zone effort. This was a brief, sharp segment rather than a longer race effort, so the key takeaway is speed over a short distance. A useful next step would be to focus on holding that pace across a longer segment, such as 1 km, to build on the strong turnover shown here. In the Friday Night Lights setting at Canary Wharf, that quick burst suited the events fast, after-work atmosphere well.
