Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Lucia Possamai #6273 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Top-4 age-group finish with standout speed-zone result Lucia covered 0.30 km in 1:20, averaging 4:32/km. She passed 34 runners in the Speed Zone and finished 4th in the Female 4650 division, a strong age-group result in a field of 5,624 participants. She was also 139th female overall. This was a short, sharp effort, and the key stat is the combination of 4:32/km pace with significant overtakes in limited distance. On a fast evening course through Canary Wharf, that suggests good acceleration and race awareness. To move from a strong age-group finish into the top three, the next focus could be maintaining that pace for the full segment while continuing to convert positioning opportunities efficiently.
