Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Lauren Murphy #6222 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast Finish in a Short, High-Tempo Effort Lauren covered 0.30 km in 1:22, averaging 4:38/km. She passed 21 runners during the effort, a strong indicator of good positioning and acceleration over a very short distance. Among 5,624 participants, she placed 164th female and 52nd in the female 2630 division. This was a brief, speed-focused segment rather than a full race-distance effort, so the key stat is how quickly she moved: 4:38/km across 0.30 km. In an event known for its evening city atmosphere through Canary Wharf, that kind of short-distance pace shows sharp leg speed. For future similar efforts, maintaining that turnover while finding a little more early momentum could help move up further in the category standings.
