Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Simon Brooman #6430 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick effort with a sharp age-group result Simon covered 0.30 km in 1:44, averaging 5:53/km. In a field of 5,624, he placed 84th in the male 4650 category and 1,401st among men. For a very short effort, that pace was solid and well controlled. This was part of Run The Wharfs Friday Night Lights setting in Canary Wharf, where the focus is on fast running through closed roads in a lively evening atmosphere. The standout stat here is the age-group placing: top 100 in category. If he wants to build on this, the clearest next step is extending that speed over a longer distance while keeping the same pace efficiency.
