Outstanding Consistency in Division Leaderboard Austin Abellon showcased an impressive performance at the 2026 Seattle Marathon | Summer Events Half Marathon. Maintaining a swift and steady pace throughout the race, his splits reflected consistency. His split times ranged from a quick 6:20 in the first mile to 7:29 in the last mile. The early pace of 6:20 min/mile and a strong hold around 6:286:32 min/mile for the majority of the race positioned him well ahead in his division. Throughout the half marathon, Austin consistently led the M15-19 division, ultimately finishing first in that category. Ending with a time of 1:27:26, he demonstrated remarkable endurance and pace management. Although the pace slowed slightly in the last miles, Austin sustained an overall pace of 6:40 min/mile, securing a solid position of 14th among male participants and 17th overall out of 1151 runners. Working on maintaining pace in the final stretches could prove beneficial in future races.
