Steady Performance in Seattle Esau Veliz maintained a commendable pace throughout his race at the 2026 Seattle Marathon | Summer Events. Starting strong with a 6:10 mile, his consistent performance led him to finish the 10K with an overall time of 41:15. His average pace was an impressive 6:39 min/mile. Throughout the race, Esau showed great determination, especially during the third mile, where he completed the split in just 6:22, a notable improvement from his previous mile. Representing the Chasing Miles Run Club, Esau secured 6th place within the M20-29 division, 14th in male participants, and 15th overall out of 484 participants. While keeping a steady pace is commendable, there's an opportunity to work on maintaining the speed from the initial mile across the entire race distance. Focusing on consistent speed training can further enhance his performance in future races.
