Strong Finish with Consistent Pace Charles Bucquet delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Seattle Marathon, completing the half marathon distance in 1:26:21. His average pace was 6:35 per mile across the 13.1-mile course. Notably, Charles maintained a remarkably consistent pace, with most mile splits varying by only a few seconds. He exhibited a strong start with a first-mile split of 6:40 and improved over the race, including a standout final sprint with a second to last split of 6:29. Charles displayed excellent pacing strategy, gradually gaining momentum and improving his position over the race. He moved from 28th overall at the first mile to finish 15th, and he placed 8th in the M20-29 division. The sections from mile 4 through mile 9 showed a successful push, with mile splits around 6:28 to 6:35. Keeping an even effort could enhance his already commendable result in future events.
