Date: Oct. 3, 2026 Participant: Jaydn Asay #9 Race: 2026 St. George Marathon Distance: 26.2 miles

Patient early, flying late for a brilliant marathon Jaydn ran a superb St. George Marathon, finishing in 2:21:14 at 5:23 per mile, and the best part was how much strength he carried into the second half. After a steady 1:12:30 through halfway, he came home in 1:08:45, a sharp negative split built on real control. He handled the Veyo stretch exactly how youd hope, absorbing miles 8 and 9 in 6:02 and 5:47, then settling right back in. Once the road turned back in his favor, he made it count. His third quarter was 34:32, and his fastest quarter was the last one in 34:13. Miles 15 and 16 rolled by in 5:06 and 5:04, mile 21 was a striking 4:51, and he was still closing with 5:11 and 5:22 at miles 25 and 26. That is strong running all the way into town.
