Date: Oct. 3, 2026 Participant: Leisha Stuart #8077 Race: 2026 St. George Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Fast, steady running and a division win Leisha put together a terrific St. George Half Marathon, finishing in 1:20:57 at 6:10 per mile. The best part was how controlled it looked on paper: her two halves were almost identical, 40:27 and 40:31, and her quarters stayed just as tidy, from 19:53 to 20:35. She moved into 1st in the F30-34 division early and never gave it back, finishing 7th among women. She opened smoothly with a 6:21 first mile, then settled in with a sharp 6:01 and 5:50 at miles 2 and 3. After a slower patch at mile 7, she answered well and was right back on it from mile 9 on, covering miles 9 through 13 in 6:18, 6:12, 6:06, 6:21, and 6:21. That kind of steadiness coming down into town is real strength.
