Date: Oct. 2, 2026 Participant: Jessie Mostert #7564 Race: 2026 St. George 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Steady 5K, sharp finish, and second woman overall Jessie put together a really solid 5K at Worthen Park, finishing in 22:11 at 7:09 per mile. The best part was how steady she was early: 7:10 for mile 1, then right back with another 7:10 for mile 2. That kind of control gave her a strong platform and kept her right in the mix all race long. She stayed composed through mile 3 in 7:19, then found another gear over the final 0.1 mile in 33 seconds, which works out to 5:39 pace. That late push moved her from 3rd woman at mile 2 to 2nd by the finish, and she came home 18th overall out of 1,002 runners. A fast, well-managed 5K with a decisive close.
