Date: Oct. 2, 2026 Participant: Aiden Gordon #7578 Race: 2026 St. George 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Fast, steady 5K with a sharp finish Aiden put together a strong 5K at Worthen Park, finishing in 18:37 at an even 6:00 pace. He was especially steady early, clicking off mile 1 in 5:56 and matching it exactly with another 5:56 in mile 2. That kind of control set up a race that stayed composed from the gun. He gave up only a little in mile 3 with a 6:11, then found another gear over the final 0.1 in 34 seconds, a 5:47 pace to close. That late pickup says a lot about how well he held the effort together. It added up to 4th overall out of 1,002 runners and 1st in the boys 1519 division, a really solid evening on the 5K course.
