Her early splits showed a consistent pace near 8:41 minutes per mile for the first six miles, placing her as high as 4th in her division at one point. As the race progressed, Noriko's pace slowed slightly, averaging around 9:11 minutes per mile by the marathon's end. Despite a gradual slowdown, she admirably held her position, finishing 9th in her division. While consistently placed in the top 50% overall, a push on pacing consistency in later stages could enhance future results.
