Consistent Performance Earns Division Victory Sarah VanPeteghen demonstrated consistent pacing at the 2026 Surf City 5K, completing the race with an impressive overall time of 24:45, achieving an average pace of 7:59 min/mile. Starting strong, Sarah maintained a pace of 7:59 min/mile during the first mile, moving up in rankings as the race progressed. By the second mile, she accelerated to a 7:37 min/mile pace, claiming the top spot in her F50-54 division. Although her pace slowed slightly to 8:25 min/mile in the third mile, she still secured the first place in her category. Remarkably, Sarah finished 1st in the F50-54 division out of numerous participants, showcasing her competitive edge in her age group.
