Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Andrea Gonzalez delivered a consistent performance in the early stages of the 2026 Surf City Marathon, maintaining an impressive pace of 7:41 min/mile for her first mile and improving to a split pace of 7:24 min/mile at mile 5. Her standout performance was reaching 5th place in her gender at the 9-mile mark, demonstrating her competitive edge. From mile 10 onward, Andrea's pace began to slow, with her final mile recorded at an 8:35 min/mile pace.
