Consistent Performance with Strong Improvements Noemi Padilla completed the 2026 Surf City Half Marathon with a final time of 1:38:23, maintaining an impressive average pace of 7:30 min/mile. Notably, her performance placed her 15th in the F30-34 division and 76th among female participants, out of 12,408 total runners. Her splits indicate a strategic approach with the initial pace at 8:15 min/mile, which she quickly improved to as fast as 7:15 min/mile by mile 4. This development was consistent, with splits mostly maintaining a pace near her average. The seventh mile marked a strong positioning at 503rd place overall, moving towards a consistent finish. Continuing this effective pacing across the race provided a stable ground to maintain her division rank. Consider evaluating the slightly slower 9th and 11th miles, potentially optimizing these segments for a continuous strong closing pace in future races. Excellent effort overall, demonstrating solid control and commitment.
