Consistent Start with Opportunity for Even Splits Addyson's performance at the 2026 Surf City 5K demonstrated initial strong pacing. She started impressively with a 7:59 minute mile, positioning her 6th in her division and 58th among females. Her second mile showed a slight deceleration to an 8:49-minute pace. Despite the drop, maintaining consistent energy could lead to stronger miles in future races. By the third mile, a further pace decrease to 9:46 highlighted potential for refinement in pacing strategy. Finishing the race in 27:03 with an overall pace of 8:43 minutes per mile placed Addyson 11th in her division. Keep up the dedicated efforts!
