Consistent Effort with Strong Start and Finish Zarya deSouza demonstrated a consistent pace throughout the 2026 Surf City Half Marathon. Her overall time was 1:32:03, covering the distance at an average pace of 7:01 min/mile. Zarya started strong, particularly excelling during the first three miles with paces between 6:33 and 6:48 min/mile. It was impressive to see her improving position, notably advancing to the 5th place within her division at the three-mile mark. Although the middle sections of the race saw her place fluctuate, Zarya's performance remained strong with a standout mile between 5 and 6, clocking an efficient pace of 6:29 min/mile. This helped her maintain competitive division standings, finishing 11th among 25-29 year-old women.
