Consistent Performance with Strategic Elevation Mid-Race Joshua Lerch demonstrated an impressive performance at the 2026 Surf City Marathon, finishing with an elapsed time of 2:30:16 and a solid average pace of 5:44 min/mile. Notably, Joshua maintained a consistent place, beginning the race in third place and effectively moving up, achieving first place after the 16th mile split. He completed the race in the second position overall out of 2,517 participants.
