Consistent Start, Strong Mid-Race Performance Jacob Arnett displayed strong and consistent pacing throughout the 2026 Surf City Marathon. Maintaining an average pace of 6:38 min/mile, his performance was commendable, especially through the middle stages of the race. At the 10-mile mark, he delivered a nice surge with a 6:16 min/mile split time. Jacob's quick phase between miles three to ten, averaging around 6:25 min/mile, showed his resilience and strategic race management. Toward the races latter stages, Jacob experienced a gradual increase in split times, ranging from 6:36 to 7:28 min/mile. Despite this, he upheld a solid strategy, finishing with a total time of 2:53:48. Remarkably, Jacob placed 3rd in his division (M25-29) and ranked 20th out of 2,517 overall. Focusing on maintaining a strong pace in the later miles could yield even better results in future races. Keep building on this excellent foundation, Jacob!
