Consistent Speed with Strong Mid-Race Performance Manuel Munoz showcased solid pacing throughout the Surf City Marathon, achieving a final time of 2:59:05 and an overall average pace of 6:50 per mile. Notably, he held a prominent position in his M25-29 age division, finishing 7th in a field of 2517 participants overall. He managed to maintain a competitive pace, particularly excelling in several mid-race splits. At the 9-mile mark, he impressively secured 3rd place both overall and in his division. Munoz's early and mid-race splits were commendably consistent, with many intervals recording a pace around 6:23 to 6:25 per mile.
