Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Amelie's performance in the 2026 Surf City Half Marathon is commendable, with a steady pace maintained throughout the race. She clocked an impressive finishing time of 1:37:22, with an average pace of 7:25 min/mile. Her strong start with a 7:43 min/mile pace improved in the second mile to a 7:25 min/mile, indicating a steady pace management. Notably, Amelie consistently placed within the top 10 in her division (F40-44) throughout the race, even reaching a high of 4th place in that category during mile five and the final stretch from mile twelve. Feedback on split times suggests some fluctuations in pacing, particularly between miles six and seven. Maintaining the pace achieved in miles twelve and thirteen, with split times of 7:19 and 7:17 respectively, could be a focus in future training sessions to enhance performance sustainability. Addressing these fluctuations may aid in achieving consistent pace throughout the entire race.
