Consistent Pace and Top Division Finisher Aria Heishman from Carlsbad, CA, showcased an impressive performance in the 2026 Surf City Half Marathon Wheelchair event. She maintained a steady pace, securing the first-place position in her gender and division across all splits. Aria's initial splits showed strong pacing under 8 minutes per mile, with her best split pace at 7:16 min/mile between the first and second mile. This strong early performance set the tone for her overall race. While her pace slightly decelerated in the latter half of the race, including a split of 15:01 min/mile between the 7th and 8th mile, Aria managed to finish with an overall time of 1:52:40, pacing 8:36 minutes per mile.
