Notably, splits at miles 10 and the final mile were quicker than her average, with mile 10 at 8:58 and her 16th mile achieved impressively at 8:57. The mid-race push between miles 16 and 17 was particularly remarkable. Katherine moved up considerably in her age group division, hitting a pace of 4:42 and 1:38 min/mile respectively.
