Consistent Pacing with Strategic Split Adjustments Samantha Larrazabal completed the 2026 Surf City Half Marathon with a total time of 1:33:18, maintaining an impressive average pace of 7:07 min/mile over 13.1 miles. Notably, Samantha made significant gains in her gender category, reflecting a strong performance in the F25-29 division where she placed 14th. Her best split pace occurred between miles 6 and 7 with a time of 6:49 min/mile, showcasing exceptional speed. Throughout the race, Samantha displayed consistent pacing ability, with most mile splits separating around the 7-minute mark. The 5th mile saw a slower shift to 7:18 min/mile, which corrected immediately in the next segment. The final mile was completed with a commendable split time of 7:02 min/mile, illustrating an effective race strategy.
