Consistent Early Splits Mark Strong Performance Amal Elali maintained impressive consistency in her pacing throughout the 2026 Surf City Half Marathon. Notably, her initial splits were marked by a steady pace, with the first three miles clocked around 6:04 min/mile. Her position at the start, 10th in the F25-29 division, showcased her strong opening performance. While there was a variation in the pace during the latter part of the race, Amal's ability to maintain a strong position was evident. Her final position of 6th in the F25-29 division demonstrates significant competitiveness among her peers. Despite encountering a slower 8th mile with a split of 9:35, she recovered well, returning to sub-6:30 splits in the final miles. For future events, maintaining that early pace through the middle miles could further enhance her race outcomes. Excellent work holding a top-15 finishing position among 110 other competitors in her gender.
