Consistent Performance with a Competitive Edge Erik Zavala demonstrated a consistent and competitive effort at the 2026 Surf City 5K. He maintained a strong pace throughout the race, finishing with an overall time of 23:37 and an impressive average pace of 7:37 min/mile across the 3.1 miles. Analyzing his splits reveals a notable progression, particularly between the first two miles where he improved from a 7:37 to a 7:29 min/mile pace.
