Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Results in Half Marathon Dylan Chambers delivered a commendable performance in the 2026 Runtastic TIMP Half Marathon, showcasing strong pacing and strategic improvements throughout. Starting with a 6:31 min/mile pace, Dylan progressively increased his speed, recording his fastest split at mile 5 with a time of 5:59. His consistent improvement saw him advance from an overall position of 49th at the first mile to finishing in 25th place out of 1280 participants. While maintaining an impressive 6:24 min/mile average pace for most of the race, Dylan reached his best divisional placement at 4th in the M20-24 category. Noteworthy was his ability to hold a steady pace, except for a slight dip to 7:00 min/mile pace at miles 11 and 12. Overall, Dylan's ability to sustain a competitive pace is indicative of his strong endurance and control, with future efforts possibly focusing on leveling out the few slower splits.
