Consistent Performance and Determined Finish Shelly Grass demonstrated steady pacing during the 2026 Runtastic TIMP Half Marathon. Starting strong with an 11:12-minute mile pace for the first mile, she maintained a consistent pace throughout the event. Her overall pace gradually slowed, finishing with a consistent but slower pace of 12:59 min/mile. Shelly consistently placed in the mid 80s in her F35-39 division, peaking at 72nd place initially and averaging a pace of approximately 12:59 min/mile overall. Shelly demonstrated resilience, particularly notable in her ability to hold an even effort from mile 4 through mile 8, where splits varied only slightly between 12:27 and 13:12. The final miles showed determination despite fatigue, with a final split of 15:11 for the thirteenth mile. Strategically focusing on managing pace towards the end of the race may assist in finishing stronger next time. Well done representing Team Gideon and finishing the race with a time of 2:50:11!
