Date: June 20, 2026 Participant: Douglas Romney #4235 Race: 2026 Runtastic TIMP 5K Distance: 3.1 miles

Consistent Performance with Strong Division Placement Douglas Romney demonstrated a consistent and commendable performance at the 2026 Runtastic TIMP 5K. He maintained a steady pace, concluding the race with a total time of 30:39 at a pace of 9:53 min/mile. His split times showed an effective strategy, with a slight slowdown in the second mile but a strong recovery in the third. This consistency earned him 3rd place in the M40-44 division out of a significant number of participants. Romney's placement was impressive, finishing 68th among male competitors. This indicates a strong overall and gender-specific strategy, despite a small drop in overall placement in the middle stages of the race. As a member of the team "I have a Fevre and the only cure is more Romney," his performance positively contributed to the team's impact. Future efforts could focus on maintaining even splits, especially in the second mile, to improve overall finish times further.
