Consistent Pace with Room for Growth Adam Backlund completed the 2026 Runtastic TIMP Half Marathon in a time of 2:55:50, running at an average pace of 13:25 per mile. Starting strong, Adam clocked an initial split of 8:57, placing 469th overall. Over the second mile, a slight drop in speed was observed with a pace of 9:15, moving him to 574th position. His performance remained steady through the midsection of the race with minor variations per mile, settling into a consistent pace. Adam's stamina was demonstrated by maintaining a balance between splits, despite a gradual deceleration, especially notable between miles 8 and 10. His split of 15:09 at mile 8 shifted him to 1012th place overall. A constructive focus on maintaining initial pacing throughout the duration could further enhance final standings. Participating as part of "Weston Waynes Warriors," there's potential for future improvement by keeping the early momentum steady as fatigue sets in. Overall finish was 1088th out of 1280 participants.
