Steady Progression and Strong Finish Lexi Pierson demonstrated consistent pacing and gradual improvement during the 2026 Runtastic TIMP 10K. Beginning with a 9:28 min/mile pace for the first mile, she quickened to 8:47 min/mile in the second. Her pace continued to impressively improve, with an 8:41 min/mile in the third mile and an excellent 8:29 min/mile by the fourth. Overall, she advanced her position, finishing 5th in her division (F3034) and 29th in her gender. Lexi completed the race in an official time of 54:53, averaging an 8:51 min/mile pace across the 6.2-mile course. Maintaining a steady pace despite a slight slowdown during the fifth mile, she effectively pushed through to finish close to her best splits. Considering her rank and time, Lexi's consistent improvement in split pace suggests potential for strategic training in pacing consistency, specifically around maintaining speed in the latter stages of the race.
