Outstanding First Place Finish in Gender and Division Taylor Jorgensen demonstrated impressive consistency and speed at the 2026 Runtastic TIMP 5K. Starting strong, she completed the first mile in 6:15, holding a steady pace. By the second mile, her pace slightly dropped to 6:52, but she quickly regained momentum to match her average pace with a split of 6:33 in the final mile. Her overall performance was commendable, finishing with an elapsed time of 20:12 and an average pace of 6:31 per mile. Such consistency not only secured her first place in both her gender and division but also placed her in the top 10 overall among 596 participants. Maintaining a strong finish after managing differing splits was key to her success. For future races, focusing on even pacing between splits could shave off additional seconds to her final time, but overall an excellent result.
