Steady Improvement and Division Leader Nora Halvorsen showcased impressive progress at the 2026 Casper Marathon 10K race. She completed the 6.2-mile course with a final time of 50:49, averaging an overall pace of 8:11 min/mile. Nora's splits demonstrated strong consistency, with an opening mile at 7:09 and maintaining close to that pace through the first four miles before ending with a slightly slower 9:31 in the final stretch. Notably, Nora held the top spot in her division (Female 0-19) and secured 4th place among female participants. Compared to her previous performances, Nora's improvement is evident. From 2024 to 2026, she progressed from a time of 57:39 to 50:49, trimming off nearly seven minutes. Her pace has improved significantly from 9:17 to 8:11 min/mile. While maintaining strong pacing in the early stages, a focus on endurance during later splits could further her consistency. Nevertheless, Nora continues to excel amongst her peers in her division.
