Steady Performance with a Strong Mid-Race Surge Geoffrey Sherman demonstrated a consistent and competitive run at the 2026 Casper Marathon's 10K event. Starting with a 10:04 pace in the first mile, he improved significantly in the second mile to a 9:52 pace, climbing from 35th overall to 20th. His strongest performance came during the third mile, clocking an impressive 8:57 pace, maintaining his position at 20th overall and 11th in his gender. Although the fourth-mile split saw a slight slowdown to an 11:22 pace, Geoffrey regained momentum remarkably in the fifth mile with a 9:09 pace.
