Strong Finish in Half Marathon Randy Cook from Lake Mary, FL, completed the 2026 Casper Marathon Half Marathon with an impressive time of 1:58:45. His overall pace of 9:03 min/mile was consistently maintained throughout the race, culminating in a strong finish that earned him a 4th place in the M40-49 division and 18th overall out of 94 participants. Randy's most notable performance aspect was his gradual acceleration during the last miles. The 8:29 min/mile split in mile 10 and an even faster 8:23 min/mile split in mile 11 suggest a well-executed race strategy focused on a negative split.
