Exceptional First Place in Gender and Division VAL CURTIS delivered a remarkable performance in the 2026 Casper Marathon. Finishing with an elapsed time of 3:13:25 and an average pace of 7:22 min/mile, Val secured the first place in her gender and division (F30-39) and finished fourth overall. Her strong start was evident with a split pace of 7:05 min/mile in the first mile. Throughout the race, Val maintained consistency, notably achieving her fastest split at mile 3 with a time of 6:47. Although she experienced a slight slowdown in miles 15 and 19, she finished powerfully, demonstrating a well-managed race strategy. By mile 26, with a split of 8:52 min/mile, she maintained her leading positions. Continual focus on even splits and endurance can further enhance her performance in future marathons.
