Maintained Top Division Standing Despite Pace Fluctuations Ryan Michael's 2026 Casper Marathon 10K race started strong, with an initial mile at a consistent pace of 8:05 min/mile, placing him 7th in his gender category and 2nd in his division. Impressively, by the 2-mile mark, he advanced to 2nd place in both overall and gender standings while maintaining a steady split pace of 8:33 min/mile. Although there was a noticeable shift around the 4th milewhere the 11:31 min/mile pace resulted in a drop to 18th overallhe managed to secure the 4th division M40-49 position with a final race time of 57:45. This year's race saw a slight decrease in pace compared to his previous 10K, where he achieved an 8:44 min/mile pace. Focusing on maintaining a steadier pace could improve future performances, given his strong early splits and consistent division placement.
