Consistent and Strong Finish in Division Jennifer McDowell ran the 2026 Casper Marathon's half marathon, covering 13.1 miles in 2:03:04 with an average pace of 9:23 min/mile. Jennifer displayed excellent pacing, highlighted by strong mid-race performance. She achieved her fastest split on Mile 3 with a time of 8:28, also leading her division during this split. Her overall consistency in pace is noteworthy, as she maintained a mid-race pace under 9:00 min/mile, which contributed significantly to her performance. Finishing 25th overall in a field of 94 participants, Jennifer placed 8th in her gender group and secured 2nd place in the F40-49 division. Particularly impressive were her steady positions in place and consistency through the race, finishing 1st in her division during several key segments. A focus on slightly diversifying pace across all splits would enhance future outcomes. Continued emphasis on strong starts and maintaining form later in races will benefit her overall performance.
