Consistency and Speed in Every Mile Winston Maxwell delivered an impressive performance in the 2026 Casper Marathon 10K, demonstrating remarkable consistency and endurance. He quickly found a rhythm, achieving his fastest split at 6:28 min/mile over the third mile. Each subsequent mile was consistently strong, though there was a slight increase in split time, with the final mile recorded at 7:12 min/mile. Despite being just 14 years old, Winston finished 3rd overall and in his gender category, while placing 2nd in his division. His overall race time was an impressive 41:54.
