Consistent Start with Room to Refine Later Miles Steven Armstrong began the Casper Marathon with consistent pacing, maintaining an impressive pace of 7:04 min/mile through the first four miles. From mile 5 to mile 10, Steven showed some variability, with his split times remaining mostly steady, and briefly improving with a 6:50 split at mile 6 resulting in a brief improvement in his overall standing to 5th place. His placement in his division (M40-49) was consistently strong, holding steady at 3rd place throughout much of the race. In the latter part of the marathon, Steven's pace showed signs of slowing, most notably at mile 19 and mile 26, where split times increased to 9:51 and 11:37 min/mile, respectively. Overall, Steven finished with a time of 3:40:34, achieving 3rd place in his division. For future races, he might focus on maintaining his early mile pace in the latter stages to improve his overall performance further.
