Strategic Push and Finish First The "Coming From Behind" relay team demonstrated exceptional performance at the 2026 Casper Marathon. They achieved a remarkable overall and division victory with an elapsed time of 3:07:20. Their average pace of 7:09 min/mile showed consistency and strength throughout the marathon relay. Starting with a solid split of 7:52 min/mile at the first mile, they eventually picked up the pace with several splits under 7:00 min/mile, including the fastest split time of 5:45 min/mile at mile 23. The relay team maintained their lead from the third mile onward, finishing first out of 30 teams. Pay attention to the slight deceleration at miles 19 and 20, where the split paces were 8:06 and 7:24 min/mile, respectively. Focusing on maintaining a more consistent pace in these future segments could further optimize performance.
